SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Driver to join our dynamic team at PATHFINDER FREIGHTLINES INC in Nova Scotia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission by ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods across North America, contributing to our reputation for excellence in service.

• Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across long distances
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
• Manage routes efficiently to optimize delivery times
• Handle loading and unloading of cargo as required
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
• Qualifications
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Must have USA VISA
• Proven experience as a long haul driver or similar role
• Strong knowledge of freight transportation regulations
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance is an asset
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
