Description Memorial Community Health, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA/Medication Aide to join our team on the evening shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM). This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis and provides direct resident care while supporting a positive, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing quality care and enhancing the lives of those we serve. Join a team dedicated to compassionate care and making a difference in our residents' lives every day. Job Duties: Performs responsibilities related to the provision of resident care. Participates as an effective member of the care team. Prepares and uses necessary equipment. Performs emergency treatment as required in accordance within a Certified Medication Aide scope of practice. Performs and maintains documentation. Promotes and ensures resident and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities. Follows HIPAA regulations and ensures that the confidentiality of patients’ medical, personal, financial records, employee records, and organizational records is maintained. Complies, understands, and enforces state and federal regulatory requirements related to the performance of Memorial Community Health operations and requirements, including but not limited to HIPAA, the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Policy, Safety and Infection Control, all department and organization-wide policies, and Federal and State of Nebraska regulations. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred Current Medication Aide certification with the State of Nebraska Current CNA certification with the State of Nebraska Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively to maintain good working relationships with staff and healthcare providers
Responsibilities
Provide direct resident care and medication administration while maintaining accurate documentation. Ensure resident safety and compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulatory requirements.
