FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours:40.00 Shift: Shift 1 Primarily working Monday-Friday, first shift. May staff up to 0.5FTE. Job Summary: Monitors the pharmacy service line and the daily activities of the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflows and business goals are achieved. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: employee scheduling, personnel management, recruiting, training pharmacy personnel, performance improvement and customer satisfaction. Assists in implementing key strategic and operational initiatives to meet departmental goals. Assures that patient care is maintained through compliance with the department's quality improvement plan as well as all state and federal pharmacy legislation and statues. Performs the duties of a pharmacist as needed. Other duties as assigned. Other information: EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy is required. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Experience in supervision or management is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE certified school of pharmacy or a PharmD. is required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Demonstrates proficiencies in such areas as: patient education, mediation counseling, appropriate drug utilization, inventory control, pharmacy law, third party billing and computer systems. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Current WI state license as a Registered Pharmacist is required.
