POSITION OVERVIEW:

Portland High School is seeking a highly qualified, enthusiastic individual to fill a secondary mathematics position during the fall of 2025 (exact dates TBD). The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:

• highly knowledgeable in the areas of Pre-Algebra and Algebra I,
• genuinely interested in working with a diverse student population
• skillful at curriculum integration
• able to engage students in authentic learning experiences
• willing to collaborate with families and staff to personalize learning and instruction for all students

CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Maine State fingerprint (CHRC) authorization (more info)
• Maine State Teacher Certificate with 300 Endorsement (Mathematics, 7-12) (more info)
