In this essential role, you’ll work alongside a team of educators to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment where children can grow, explore, and thrive. What You’ll Do Support teachers in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities. Interact positively with children to promote their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Assist in maintaining a safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment. Step into the lead role in the teacher’s absence. Communicate daily with parents and staff to support each child’s development. Maintain accurate records such as attendance, assessments, and progress notes. Implement Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) strategies. Why Join Us? A Few More Details This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position under the supervision of the Education Manager and team. Travel is generally not required but may occasionally occur. Requirements Education & Experience: Applicants must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. All positions must have experience with young children and their families; such as knowledge of human development, family dynamics and the needs of children. Knowledge of the health, nutrition, social, and educational needs of the young child. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Capable of participating in active play and physical activities with children. Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, stoop, sit on the floor, reach overhead, and safely navigate stairs, step stools, and step ladders.
