ABOUT THE ROLES:

We are now recruiting experienced Longwall Electricians to join our foundation longwall crews at Centurion. These permanent roles will commence in November 2025, providing time for onboarding and preparation before the longwall starts up in 2026.

  • Identify and rectify electrical faults using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.
  • Install and commission electrical infrastructure during longwall moves or new panel setups.
  • Assist with electrical breakdowns to ensure downtime is minimised.
  • Perform insulation resistance testing, earth fault loop testing, and high-voltage testing.
  • Monitor the performance of electrical equipment and identify potential failures before they occur.
  • Work closely with the wider team, which includes mechanical fitters, engineers, and control room operators, to ensure seamless performance.
  • Ensure electrical compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and all Peabody and Centurion site policies and procedures
