Lorry Driver
We are looking for a reliable and responsible Lorry Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently to various locations. The driver will be responsible for the safe handling, loading, and unloading of goods, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining the assigned vehicle in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate lorry safely in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
  • Load, transport, and deliver goods to clients or warehouse locations on schedule.
  • Assist in loading and unloading of cargo (may require physical handling).
  • Inspect lorry regularly to ensure roadworthiness (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, trip logs, and submit delivery documents.
  • Report any accidents, vehicle issues, or delays promptly to the supervisor.
  • Ensure goods are delivered in good condition and obtain delivery confirmations/signatures.
  • Follow health, safety, and security procedures during transport and delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a valid Class 3 / Class 4 driving license (depending on lorry size).
  • Minimum [X] years of driving experience preferred (can adjust based on company policy).
  • Good driving record with no major traffic violations.
  • Physically fit to handle loading/unloading of goods if required.
  • Familiar with local routes, traffic regulations, and delivery procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Good communication skills and customer service attitude.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays if required.
