AYANA Hospitality is seeking a diligent and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be integral in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property by preventing theft and mitigating risks associated with incidents. Your keen observation skills and ability to respond effectively to emergencies will be key to maintaining a secure environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor and assess security needs and address any anomalies. Respond promptly to security alarms, incidents, and guest inquiries while providing a professional and calm presence. Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activities or concerns to the management. Assist in investigating incidents (theft, vandalism, etc.), documenting findings, and reporting them in accordance with procedures. Collaborate with security teams and other departments to ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities. Ensure effective communication with guests and staff regarding safety procedures, fostering a secure and friendly atmosphere. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in a related field is a plus. At least 1-2 years of experience in a security or loss prevention role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Strong observational and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. Ability to remain calm and assess situations effectively in high-pressure circumstances. Basic knowledge of security systems and safety protocols. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
