JOB SUMMARY

The Loss Prevention Officer plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our facilities and assets. This position involves monitoring surveillance/CCTV systems, implementing loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and fraud, recovering product and conducting arrests of shoplifters, when necessary. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and a commitment to upholding company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience of at least 1 year in retail loss prevention is required.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance technology.
  • Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential risks or suspicious behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
  • A valid security guard license is required.
