JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum High School diploma or Grade 12 education
• Minimum of 1 year of Loss Prevention security experience preferably in Canada.
• Must Possess a valid Security license
• Excellent written & verbal communication and active listening skills
• Able to work nights, weekends, weekdays, and holidays
• Able to work outdoors any weather conditions with excessive walking and long periods of standing

• Loss Prevention Officers will have to use the Kronos punch clock to confirm their presence in the store at the beginning and end of their shift.
• The punch clock is generally located towards the front of the store near the cash registers, but it’s possible that it is sometimes located in the back store.
• Each specific vendor will have their own 4-digit code assigned to them
• This will be the code used by all floorwalkers working for that vendor
• On the main menu, the floorwalker must punch-in and punch-out with their respective 4-digit code, followed by the ENTER button at the bottom right.
• When the punch is accepted, the screen will show: ACCEPTED; no further actions required.
• If the punch is rejected, the screen will show: REJECTED.
• If the Loss Prevention Officer has a problem with the punch clock (punch rejected), please speak with the manager of the store or contact the Dollarama
• Service Center at 1-877-688-1277.
• Loss Prevention must not record any other punches aside from the arrival and departure for their shift i.e. no punch for breaks or lunch breaks, if any.
