Loss Prevention Officer Location: Montgomery, TX, 77316 JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Loss Prevention Officer to join our team in Montgomery, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting company assets, preventing theft, and ensuring a safe environment for employees, guests and members. This role requires strong observational skills, integrity, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Access control at the main gate as well as construction entrance. * Conduct regular patrols of the facility and parking areas. * Identify and investigate suspicious activities and incidents. * Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary. * Maintain detailed reports of incidents, investigations, and daily activities. * Assist in training staff on loss prevention policies and procedures. * Utilize security systems and technology to monitor and protect assets. * Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms and emergencies. REQUIRED SKILLS * Proven experience as a Security or Loss Prevention Officer. * Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols. * Excellent observational and problem-solving skills. * Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Familiarity with security equipment and surveillance systems. * High level of integrity and professionalism. QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security training or certifications preferred. * Valid Level II security license or certification as required by Texas state law. * 5 years military, law enforcement and security experience. A mix of these may be considered * Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings. * Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
