Job Description Te kaupapa o te tūranga - The purpose of the role. We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers. Key Responsibilities: Monitor security cameras Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor Interact with customers and address their concerns Upload events onto our crime reporting platform. We currently have a permanent full time position available, covering the following shifts: Monday - 8 AM to 12 PM Sunday - 8 AM to 4:15 PM Qualifications He kōrero mōu ake - About you Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods. Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial. Responsibilities

The Loss Prevention Officer will monitor security cameras, maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor, and interact with customers to address their concerns. They will also upload events onto the crime reporting platform.
