Job Description Te kaupapa o te tūranga - The purpose of the role. We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers. Key Responsibilities: Monitor security cameras Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor Interact with customers and address their concerns Upload events onto our crime reporting platform. There are two, permanent part-time roles available: 1) Sunday to Wednesday: Sunday:9:00am - 2:00pm Monday: 2:00pm - 8:00pm Tuesday:4:00pm - 8:00pm Wednesday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm 2) Sunday and Monday: Sunday: 2:00pm - 8:00pm Monday: 9:00am - 2:00pm Please specify in your application what shifts suit you best! Qualifications He kōrero mōu ake - About you Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods. Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
