Leisure Days RV Centre, in Moncton New Brunswick has a career opportunity for a Lot Attendant/Detailer & Driver. This is a seasonal position with full-time hours. A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract is required for this position.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
  • Experience hauling trailers
  • Previous forklift experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends.
  • Self-directed, motivated, proactive and accountable
  • 1-2 years lot attendant experience is an asset
  • Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Ability and willingness to learn and strong attention to detail
  • Positive interpersonal skills, attitude, and energy
  • Flexibility, adaptability and able to multitask
  • Ability to work independently or within a team

Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient customer service.
  • Perform deliveries of RVs and travel trailers on behalf of the dealership.
  • Maintain lot security and report any problems or crimes on the lot.
  • Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning the exterior of vehicles and replacing batteries when necessary.
  • Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
  • Responsible for moving recreational vehicles around the yard and into the shop for service.
  • Responsible to maintain the lot and keep the building clean.
  • Clean the exterior of the units.
  • Ensure units are organized in a presentable manner.
  • Inspect and report any vehicular damages.
  • Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
  • Drive to pick up parts and deliver vehicles to appropriate departments (after-sales, trade-ins, arrivals).
  • Monitor vehicles in storage, watch for any damage that will adversely affect units in outdoor climate and ensure vehicles are secure.
  • Keep lots neat and orderly, move inventory as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
  • Handle delivery of vehicles.
  • Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
