VICKAR FORD is currently accepting applications for a full-time Lot Attendant – Back of House to join our service team!
Typical Schedule: Monday to Friday during the day, with occasional evening or Saturday shifts as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Manitoba driver’s license (Intermediate or Full) with a clean driving record – MPI abstract required
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, crouching, bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift
  • Self-driven and able to work independently with a positive attitude
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Commitment to safety in all aspects of the role
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Previous auto industry experience an asset
  • Satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience may be considered

Responsibilities
  • Transport vehicles between service, detailing, and storage areas
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient back lot for vehicle staging and movement
  • Wash and detail vehicles; remove snow, ice, and debris from vehicles and lot areas
  • Salt, sand, shovel, and sweep walkways, entrances, and service lanes to ensure safe access
  • Start, refuel, and boost vehicle batteries as required
  • Assist technicians and service advisors with vehicle flow and readiness
  • Perform vehicle inspections for cleanliness and damage before delivery to customers
  • Clean and disinfect vehicles and designated facility areas
  • Support inventory management by tagging and tracking vehicle locations
  • May assist with parts deliveries, customer shuttle service, or dealership errands
  • Maintain professional and respectful interactions with staff and guests
  • Carry out other related duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned
