Part Time Lot Driver I Schedule: 20-30 hours within Monday to Friday between 8-5 Pay Range: $16.50-$17 hourly About Us ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, currently operates in over 50 locations throughout the US. Role and Team Reporting to the Operations Manager or other designated manager, you will operate motor vehicles on the premises in support of auction activities. Your primary focus is to execute vehicle movement across the lot by transporting and staging units in designated areas under the direction of leadership. Responsibilities Safe Operations: Always operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habits. Vehicle Staging: Support efficient lot flow and ensure vehicles are positioned accurately to meet operational and sale day needs. Operational Support: Safely move, stage, and park various makes, models, sizes, and conditions of vehicles in designated lot areas throughout the shift. Efficiency: Move vehicles from the finish line to designated parking spots using alphanumeric ordering. Inventory Tracking: Scan parked vehicles in the Internal Tracking system to maintain accurate inventory and record movement. Maintenance: Jump-start vehicles using a battery box as required. Safety Compliance: Maintain work areas to ensure a safe environment and promptly notify managers of all driving-related incidents or potential hazards. Policy Adherence: Follow company procedures involving accidents, injuries, or property damage, and ensure all state or federal laws are followed. Other Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager. Skills and Attributes Teamwork: Hardworking, motivated team player who collaborates well with multiple departments and customers. Communication: Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to follow basic English instructions. Technical Literacy: Ability to comprehend alphanumeric order and motor vehicle traffic signs. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in all weather conditions. Detail-Oriented: Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail. Customer Focus: Strong customer service skills.
