Description Get Hands-On with Boats and Support Daily Operations Boater’s World Marine Centers is hiring a reliable and hardworking Lot Porter to support our Lake Placid, FL location during peak season. With a high volume of incoming boats and daily movement across departments, this role is essential in keeping the lot organized, clean, and running efficiently. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being around boats. Key Responsibilities Boat Movement & Handling Move, position, and stage boats, trailers, and equipment across the lot Assist with loading, unloading, and repositioning units as needed Support movement of boats for Sales, Service, and delivery preparation Lot Organization & Cleanliness Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lot environment Ensure boats are properly staged and presentable for customers Assist with general upkeep of the yard and surrounding areas Inventory Support Assist in receiving incoming boats and organizing inventory Help ensure units are placed correctly and easy to locate Report any visible damage or issues to management Operational Support Work closely with the Lot Manager and other departments to support daily operations Assist wherever needed to keep dealership workflow moving efficiently Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to lift, move, and work with boats and equipment Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Willingness to learn and follow proper boat handling procedures Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Experience with trailers or towing is a plus, but not required Why Join Boater’s World Marine Centers? Responsibilities
