LOUNGE BARBACK JOB DESCRIPTION Position Overview: The Lounge Barback is responsible for supporting the bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized during service. The ideal candidate works efficiently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining smooth bar operations and providing excellent support to bartenders. Key Responsibilities: 1. Stocking and Replenishing: * Ensure the bar is fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine, glassware, garnishes, ice, and other necessary supplies before and during service. * Replenish ingredients, garnishes, and mixers as needed to ensure the bartenders have everything they need to serve guests promptly. 2. Cleaning and Maintenance: * Maintain a clean and organized bar area by wiping down surfaces, cleaning spills, and removing empty glasses and bottles. * Collect and wash glassware, ensuring it's clean and ready for use. * Ensure ice bins are constantly replenished, and assist with other bar setup and breakdown duties. 3. Support for Bartenders: * Assist bartenders by preparing drink garnishes, refilling ice, and keeping the bar area tidy and functional. * Assist with receiving and storing bar deliveries, ensuring that inventory is properly stored and organized. 4. Customer Interaction: * Engage with guests in a friendly and courteous manner when assisting bartenders with basic tasks, such as delivering drinks. * Ensure guests feel welcomed and that the bar atmosphere remains positive. Qualifications: * Previous experience as a barback or in a similar support role is preferred. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to lift and carry heavy items such as cases of liquor or kegs. * Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude. * Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

The Lounge Barback supports bartenders by maintaining stock levels of liquor, glassware, and garnishes. They are also responsible for cleaning the bar area and ensuring smooth operational flow during service.
