Description The Love-Encore Phone Specialist serves as a key front-line support role within the dealership. This position manages incoming phone traffic, supports showroom operations, and helps create a welcoming experience for customers.This role also serves as a development pathway into the Love-Encore Technology Specialist team, allowing employees to build foundational product knowledge, customer communication skills, and experience supporting vehicle technology education. Reception and phone specialists are often the first point of contact for customers, playing an important role in creating a professional, organized, and positive dealership experience. Responsibilities: Answer and manage incoming dealership phone calls in a professional and friendly manner Direct callers to the appropriate department or team member and take accurate messages when needed Provide basic information regarding dealership services, hours, and departments Greet guests at the front desk and connect them with the appropriate sales or service team member Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment Monitor and restock customer amenities such as snacks, beverages, and water stations Support the sales and Love-Encore teams by keeping the front area organized and customer-ready Learn Subaru product knowledge and vehicle technology through hands-on training Observe and assist with customer technology redeliveries when possible Develop communication and product knowledge skills to support career growth within the dealership This position serves as a pathway into the Love-Encore Technology Specialist team, providing experience in: Subaru product and technology knowledge Customer communication and presentation skills Supporting vehicle delivery and ownership education Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances Authorized to work in the United States Strong customer service and communication skills Professional phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volume Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Comfortable greeting customers and providing a welcoming experience Basic computer skills (email, scheduling systems, CRM tools) Interest in learning Subaru vehicle features and technology Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
