JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems, including but not limited to security systems, telecommunications, and audio/visual systems. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management and project coordination, as well as proficiency in various construction management software.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in low voltage installations or related fields.
• Familiarity with construction management software including Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and Primavera.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and techniques.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in reading blueprints, contracts, and schematics is essential.
• Previous construction site experience is preferred.
• Strong project coordination and project management skills are a must.

• Install and maintain low voltage systems including security alarms, intercoms, and data cabling.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements.
• Utilize construction estimating tools such as ProCore and HeavyBid for project budgeting.
• Employ Primavera P6 for project scheduling and tracking progress.
• Coordinate with other trades on construction sites to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Conduct site inspections to assess installation conditions and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on-site.
