JOB DESCRIPTION:

Ametek Rauland Integrated Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Audio Visual Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage audio-visual systems for our clients in the K-12 Education and Healthcare Markets. This role requires technical expertise in AV equipment, a strong understanding of low voltage systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients to ensure their specific requirements are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in designing low voltage audio-visual systems.
  • Proficiency in installing and configuring AV equipment, including projectors, displays, speakers, and control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and their integration into various environments.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to audio-visual installations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve technical issues efficiently.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Engineering or Technical Degree Preferred.
  • Certifications in low voltage or audio-visual systems is a plus (Avixa, CTS).
  • Experience with the following programs is a plus:
  • Biamp
  • Qsys
Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage audio-visual systems, including but not limited to projectors, displays, speakers, and control systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to determine optimal placement and installation of audio-visual equipment.
  • Ensure all installations comply with industry standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
  • Test and calibrate audio-visual systems to meet performance specifications and client expectations.
  • Provide training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of installed systems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and execute large-scale installations.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients.
