Description

The Low Voltage Electrical CAD Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing low voltage electrical distribution systems, with a focus around systems engineering, automation and applications across a variety of projects, working in design software and engineering tools to provide optimized and de-risked proposals: Design and develop low voltage electrical systems and components for automation projects. Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications. Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new projects. Select appropriate electrical components and materials for system design. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during the development and testing phases. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
