Pay: $18.00+ per hour to start/at hire, to be reevaluated after probation
Expected Hours: 40-50 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-10 hour shifts

ABOUT US:

We are a locally owned and operated company specializing in low voltage cabling installation and other construction services for both residential and commercial environments. Our team takes pride in delivering high-quality installations, and we are looking to add a motivated and reliable labourer to help us on various construction sites across Ottawa.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position involves the installation of low voltage cabling for various systems (including internet, telecommunications, and central vacuums) in new residential and commercial construction projects. If you have experience in cabling installation or are looking to enter the field, we’d love to hear from you!

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

• Safety boots and hard hat required on site (personal protective equipment)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the installation of low voltage wiring in both commercial and residential settings
• Prepare job sites and ensure materials and tools are ready
• Work independently to complete installations in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure all installs are completed according to safety standards, company guidelines, and client specifications
• Perform general construction duties as required, including site cleanup

NOTE: THIS POSITION IS NOT FOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS OR APPRENTICE ELECTRICIANS; IT IS A LABOUR ROLE FOCUSED ON LOW VOLTAGE CABLING INSTALLATION IN NEW CONSTRUCTION ENVIRONMENTS.
