Seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician with experience in home automation, AV systems, security systems, camera systems, lighting control, networking and more for a full-time, direct hire opportunity in Long Lake, MN. Work is all around the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St Paul area) in high end residential homes This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including Health Insurance Plan, HSA w/ $25 match per period 401(k) match, paid holidays, and more! A Company vehicle will be provided depending on experience after 60 days. Weekly overtime! Shift Time: Mon- Friday 7 am to 4 pm Pay: $30-45/H based on experience and skills. Job Responsibilities for Low Voltage Technician: Familiarity with basic construction tools, ladders, and equipment. Perform rough ins based off blueprints Installation of AV/Security equipment and Lighting Control devices Fishing wires through finished spaces Program Lutron/Crestron Lighting Control; organize and manage Lighting Control Projects -Once Trained Dig and install outdoor systems Maintain documentation of systems Instruct end users for the control of the system Qualifications for Low Voltage Technician: Minimum 3 years’ experience in low voltage electrical systems Experience in home automation, AV systems, security systems, camera systems, lighting control, and networking is highly preferred Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software-related issues Previous experience in residential construction or labor-intensive roles is required.
