Key Responsibilities

• 1. Student Support and Guidance·      Provide face-to-face academic support to students individually and in small groups.·      Support students across English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.·      Reinforce teacher instruction and clarify concepts when required.·      Guide students through daily learning activities, assignments, projects, and assessments.·      Encourage students to seek support when needed and become confident, independent learners.·      Support the development of foundational literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills. 2. Progress Monitoring and Accountability·      Monitor and record student attendance daily.·      Track student engagement and assignment completion.·      Identify students who may be falling behind and implement timely intervention strategies.·      Follow up with students regarding incomplete work and learning expectations.·      Support students in setting goals and taking ownership of their learning.·      Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions. 3. Student Engagement and Motivation·      Build positive relationships with students.·      Encourage active participation in learning activities and support sessions.·      Promote attendance at live classes and school activities.·      Celebrate student achievement, effort, and progress.·      Foster resilience, motivation, curiosity, and a growth mindset. 4. Personalized Support·      Differentiate support according to student needs and ability levels.·      Guide students towards appropriate learning resources and support strategies.·      Assist students in overcoming barriers to learning and developing confidence.·      Collaborate with teachers and Academic Advisors regarding student support needs.·      Support students requiring additional assistance through targeted intervention.
