Description University Christian School – Oceanway Campus is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lower School Teacher (K–4th Grade) to join our growing, Christ-centered campus community. This role is ideal for an educator who loves working with young learners, values strong relationships, and is committed to integrating faith and learning in the classroom. Responsibilities Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction for elementary students Integrate biblical truth and Christian values into daily lessons and classroom culture Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment Monitor and assess student progress and communicate effectively with families Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Collaborate with campus leadership, grade-level teams, and support staff Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and campus events Support and uphold the mission and values of University Christian School Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required (Education or related field preferred) Teaching certification preferred (or willingness to pursue) Elementary teaching experience preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills A clear commitment to Christian education and student development Employment Requirements Ability to meet the physical demands of an elementary classroom Successful completion of background screening and fingerprinting The University Christian School Oceanway Campus provides a close-knit, supportive environment where students are known, loved, and challenged to grow academically and spiritually.
