Responsibilities The Lower School Teacher will: * Collaborate with grade-level colleagues to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging curriculum aligned with school standards and philosophy. * Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies, learning approaches, and educational technologies. * Support the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development of students. * Communicate effectively and consistently with students, families, and colleagues. * Maintain a classroom environment that is safe, nurturing, Christ-centered, and conducive to learning. * Engage actively in faculty responsibilities, including professional development, meetings, and participation in the life of the school community. Qualifications Required: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field * Demonstrated teaching experience in an elementary school setting * Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills * A commitment to the Christian mission, identity, and worldview of St. David’s School * Ability to inspire, nurture, and support young learners Preferred: * Minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience * Familiarity with current instructional methods and developmental best practices * Experience differentiating instruction for a variety of learners Why Join St. David’s?
