Job Description What you'll do: We’re looking for a talented and passionate Sales Manager to energise our Christchurch based LPG Sales team. As our Sales Manager -SME & Growth, you will lead the SME Sales team to profitably grow the Rockgas business and optimise the revenue from our small - medium commercial (SME) sales, contracts, and partnerships across the channel throughout New Zealand. This role is pivotal in ensuring Rockgas’ future success by developing and leading our SME team, the strategy and tactical plans, securing LPG market share, delivering the customer value proposition, and building the brand’s reputation with commercial customers where there is growth potential for Rockgas. Qualifications What you’ll bring: As well as being able to demonstrate an excellent track record of driving and delivering sustainable and profitable business and customer growth and having lots of initiative and a ‘can do attitude’ you will have: A relevant tertiary qualification in a business, finance, commerce related discipline (desirable); Proven experience leading and coaching high performing teams; Previous experience in senior sales and/or business development manager positions; Strategic and operational thinking skills with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation; Excellent relationship management and influencing skills, balanced with sales closing skills to achieve customer resign goals; Strong business/commercial and financial acumen, including budget management and being a data driver decision making; Good negotiation and contract management skills; Experience in the SME or B2B channels and/or energy retail environment is a bonus (desirable/ not essential) Please note this role will require some travel and a work vehicle is included for this role.
