Position Summary The Surgery Team Lead supports daily operations of a high-volume ophthalmology ambulatory surgery center. This is a working leadership role responsible for maintaining efficient patient flow, supporting staff performance, and ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards while actively participating in patient care. Responsibilities • Support daily workflow across pre-op, OR support, and PACU to include obtaining intravenous access • Ensure surgery schedules, logs, and documentation are accurate and complete• Monitor patient flow and proactively address operational bottlenecks• Provide daily direction, coaching, and support to clinical staff• Reinforce adherence to policies, procedures, and safety standards• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members• Support supply management and cost-effective resource utilization• Escalate operational or performance concerns to leadership appropriately• Maintain readiness for regulatory and accreditation standards Qualifications • Prior leadership or charge experience preferred• Strong organizational and communication skills• Ability to lead peers in a fast-paced clinical environment• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict professionally• Working knowledge of surgical workflow and documentation standards• Must be able to organize and set priority for work to be done• Maintains current BLS certification and completion of required annual in-services• Active LPN license or senior MA experience in a surgical setting preferred Company Benefits We offer a competitive benefits package to our employees: Medical Dental Vision 401k w/ Match HSA/FSA Telemedicine Generous PTO Package We also offer the following benefits for FREE: Employee Discounts and Perks Employee Assistance Program Group Life/AD&D Short Term Disability Insurance Long Term Disability Insurance EyeSouth Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
