We provide the tools and resources needed to foster meaningful connections with our residents and deliver outstanding care. A Typical Day: Interact with staff, residents, families, and physicians to provide optimum care for each resident. Observe and document any significant changes in residents’ mental or physical condition and communicate same to Myers Hall Manager, physician, and family or designee. Facilitate administration of medications according to established procedures and in a timely manner. Perform resident treatments as required. Follows the established procedures for entering and checking physician orders in the EHR. Participate in and document admissions and transfers. Ensure that the “Missed Medication Review” is completed at the end of the shift. Oversee the accurate administration of medications by Med Techs, through direct supervision and “hands on” guidance and informal teaching. Complete assigned monthly charting on time. Appropriately respond to emergencies and triage as needed. Accurately take off physicians’ orders and correctly enter them into EHR. Carry assigned LPN cell phone and respond to calls appropriately. Requirements What We Need In A Candidate: Must be licensed by the state of South Carolina and in good standing with a current active license. Must have the ability and knowledge to act in a supervisory capacity. BLS certified OR willingness to get certified within 3 months of employment. Consistently demonstrates professionalism and clinical skills. Maintain professional appearance and conduct exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times. Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, squat, climb, reach above head, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written. Responsibilities
