Job Details Job Location: ATOKA, OK 74525 Job Purpose: - The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Atoka County Medical Center is responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The LPN will ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients while adhering to established medical protocols and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. - Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. - Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. - Provide basic patient care, including wound care, dressing changes, and personal hygiene assistance. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient care is delivered effectively and efficiently. - Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records. - Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and discharge instructions. - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities. - Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Required Education: - Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program. - Current LPN license in the state of practice. Required Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic. - Experience in patient care and clinical procedures. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
