Description Specific responsibilities for this position are stated below but not limited to: 1. Check in monthly meds for houses under their responsibility. 2. Responsibility for deposal of discontinued medications. 3. Responsible for initial assessments of new residents within 72 hours of admission. Follow-up assessments are to be completed within 24 hours of a post hospital visit. 4. Daily verification of documentation of medical records. 5. Ensure that all medical appointments and follow-up appointments are made in a timely manner. Ensure that transportation to and from those appointments is arranged. Ensure that residents attend all scheduled appointments and that there is documentation to support any missed appointments. 6. Administer shots when necessary. 7. Ongoing training of staff regarding medication documentation. 8. Have a complete understanding of all policies and procedures in the policy and procedure manual. Requirements . Must be 18 years of age or older 2. Valid Driver’s license or state ID 3. Successful completion of a drug screen 4. Background results within company standards (i.e. no assault, bodily harm, possession of weapons or drug charge) 5. Must maintain professional nursing license 6. Must have CPR & First aid or must complete MSHN CPR/first aid class within first thirty days of employment. Certification must be repeated every 2 years. 7. Requires strong computer and Internet research skills, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal skills 8. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 9.
