Description Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking an LPN Care Partner to join our team! Full-time position available with complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with match, and more. Plan, provide and document advanced professional nursing care in resident care areas to include collecting and analyzing resident data, developing and implementing nursing care plans, responding to emergency and specialized resident care situations, evaluating nursing care practices and communicating to appropriate personnel relevant facts about residents, nursing services rendered and resident responses Assist staff personnel in developing professional skills and in selecting priorities for the delivery of nursing care; monitor progress of staff and assist with reorganization of units as required. Coordinate activities of nursing staff with other personnel and services engaged in caring for residents; communicate with physicians and advise other services of conditions or circumstances affecting resident care. Plan and provide nursing care under the direction of the Team Leader and in accordance with physician’s orders and established nursing care policies, procedures, and standards. Evaluate nursing care with emphasis on medication administration, prescribed treatments and patient responses; consult with supervisory nurse in the establishment of short-term and long-range goals for patients. Requirements A valid LPN License is required for the state of VA. Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg is committed to best practices for infection control; therefore, we will require all team members to receive the influenza vaccine and recommend COVID-19 vaccines.
Responsibilities
The LPN Care Partner will plan, provide, and document advanced professional nursing care, which includes collecting resident data, developing care plans, and responding to emergencies. They will also assist staff in developing professional skills and coordinate nursing activities with other services while communicating with physicians.
