Overview: Assume the responsibilities for direct care of assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider in patient care departments. Provides nursing services to patient and families in accordance with the LPN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing. Will assume duties of caring for the elderly population in the Extended Care Wing. Responsibilities: Pass medicationsComplete wound treatmentsOversee CNA’sInteract professionally with providersRequest orders when necessary and carry them outCommunicate well with familiesCarry out orders as needed for residents Ensure medications received for residents from the Apothecary Shoppe Ensure orders are placed in EPIC correctly for outpatient labs and medications Qualifications:
