GENERAL SUMMARY:
Novant Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our medical office team. In this non-exempt role, you will provide direct nursing care in a medical office setting under the supervision of a physician. Your responsibilities will include assistingmedical providers, maintaininga clean and safe environment, and ensuring that patient care is delivered in accordance withNovant Health’s policies and procedures.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED.
Completion of an accredited nursing program.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physician office setting preferred

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
Utilize electronic health records for patient work-upsand assigned tasks.
Evaluate daily schedules to manage patient flow, obtain necessary charts and charge tickets.
Post test results and physician dictation in patient charts, complete charge tickets as needed.
Receive chart requests and arrange transfers to other clinic departments.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Physician Practice Manager or other supervisory staff.
