Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Responsible for the coordination and delivery of psychiatric patient care and the application of the nursing process Administer medication and maintain narcotics report (RN) Supervise and lead RSAs and ensure the shift is fully staffed IND9 Requirements Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Licensed in the State of Illinois Nursing Experience in Long-Term Care, preferable a residential Mental Health faciity Able to work independently High level of professionalism and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for adults with psychiatric disorders Wilson Care is a 24/7 facility dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals affected by chronic psychiatric disorders.
