Description
This position will serve patients and families in NWA and areas of NE Oklahoma. We have a variety of shift configurations including nights, days, and weekends. Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Current LPN license without restriction; current satisfactory TB skin test; minimum 1 year nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare facility preferred; at least one year experience is preferred in the areas of home health, hospice, gerontology, geriatrics, acute care & care of the terminally ill. Ability to cope with human suffering, emergencies and other stresses. Should be caring, sympathetic, responsible and detail oriented. Must be able to correctly assess patients' conditions and determine when consultation is required. Reliable transportation and a current driver's license with liability insurance. General Description: Provides nursing and supportive care in accordance w/an interdisciplinary plan of care. Treat patients, educate patients about medical conditions and provide advice and emotional support to patients' family members. Responsible for documentation, operation of medical equipment, and administration of medications. Follows plan of care and works closely with Case Manager, Physician, and other Interdisciplinary Team members to ensure exceptional care.
