LPN – Long Term Care at Providence Child Center in Portland, Oregon. This posting represents a full time day shift position. Hours are 7am-7:30pm (3, 12 hour shifts), with rotating weekends and holidays. Our Long-Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients. We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents require long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living. Our unit is known for its exceptional continuity of care, with many caregivers having long tenures and deep relationships with our residents and families. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an approved school for practical nurses. Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 1 year of LPN Experience Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: IV Therapy course and competency demonstration.
