LPN - PACE in Kent, WA Job Schedule: Mon-Fri, Day shift Job Description: The LPN / LVN participates, coordinates and provides direct nursing care in a manner which ensures participant's satisfaction and retention. Assists with medication orders and delivery, coordinating with the physician, RN, transportation and home care. Assists physicians and nursing staff with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to vital signs, wound care, medication administration/management, treatments, patient teaching, venipuncture and microcoagulation, catheter care foot care, administration/reading PPD tests and participant set up for physician visit. Performs duties in a variety of settings including the community, the Center, and the Clinic. Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible living in the community through clinics, home visits and more. Required Qualifications: Education sufficient for licensure Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: Washington Licensed Practical Nurse Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request 1 year long term care or related geriatric experience. Experience working with the frail and elderly.
