JOB OVERVIEW: The LPN Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services by administering medication and treatments in a safe organized manner. Responsibilities include but are not limited to administration of medications, documentation of medication administration, conducting SHUs, and providing resident care while demonstrating the Mission for Sunrise Senior Living, “to champion the quality of life for all seniors” in accordance with federal, state/provincial, and local laws, standards and regulations and Sunrise Senior Living policies to promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

  • LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential
  • In states/provinces where appropriate, must maintain certifications
  • Maintain the following certifications and ongoing training and re-education as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations:

o CPR and First Aid

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred
  • Desire to serve and care for seniors
  • As applicable, all Sunrise team members who drive a Sunrise vehicle must sign the Driver job description and understand the key essential duties for safety and regulatory compliance
