Park Nicollet is looking to hire a LPNs and Medical Assistants to join our Dermatology team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. Position Summary: Provides practical nursing care to patients in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and PNHS policy. Provides safe and effective nursing care by promoting a safe, therapeutic environment and by advocating for the best interests of individual patients. Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skill and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights. Work Schedule: Monday, Wed - Friday. Start by 7:30AM -7:45AM until clinic ends 4:30PM-5:00PM. Work with a provider in St. Louis Park 2 days and in Burnsville 2 days. Required Qualifications: We are open to filling this position with an LPN or MA. Requirements for each are outlined below: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable. Medical Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by “The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
