We are seeking a compassionate, highly qualified full-time LPN Night Supervisor to join our team and deliver excellent care for our residents. The ideal candidate will have senior living experience (e.g., long-term care, assisted living, memory support) and a strong passion for working with an elderly population. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans, promoting physical, personal, and emotional well-being to maintain maximum levels of self-care and independence. Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during night shifts, ensuring adherence to facility policies, procedures, and quality standards. Perform resident assessments under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON), documenting changes in condition and reporting critical issues promptly to nursing and physician management. Administer medications, injections, and other authorized treatments; monitor and record vital signs, weights, and blood sugars. Implement restorative nursing techniques, including proper positioning, ADL training, and passive range of motion exercises. Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, oral care) using safe practices and equipment. Support resident admissions, discharges, and transitions, ensuring smooth coordination and accurate documentation. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to maintain high-quality care standards. Requirements High school diploma or GED and current LPN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Minimum three (3) years of related experience in Assisted Living and/or Long-Term Care, including at least one (1) year of nursing supervisory experience. Current COVID-19 vaccination, CPR, and First Aid certification. ISP/UAI certification preferred; experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred. Ability to lift and assist residents (at least 50 lbs.) and perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing/pulling, and maintaining balance. Strong ability to assist residents safely with mobility, transfers, and daily activities while using proper body mechanics and equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to follow instructions accurately and communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, and visitors.
