We are seeking a compassionate, highly qualified full-time LPN Night Supervisor to join our team and provide exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior living settings, such as long-term care, assisted living, or memory support, and a genuine passion for serving the elderly population. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct nursing care to residents per care plans, supporting physical, emotional, and personal well-being and promoting independence. Serve as LPN Night Supervisor, overseeing night shift operations and ensuring adequate staffing and resident coverage. Assign, delegate, and coordinate tasks to CNAs and RMAs; monitor completion and provide guidance as needed. Supervise CNA and RMA staff performance, ensuring safe practices and compliance with facility policies and standards. Conduct resident assessments per DON direction; document condition changes and report critical issues promptly. Administer medications, injections, and prescribed treatments; monitor and record vital signs, weights, and blood glucose. Respond to resident emergencies and acute changes in condition; initiate appropriate interventions and escalation protocols. Assist with admissions, discharges, and overnight care transitions; ensure accurate documentation and continuity of care. Support residents with ADLs, transfers, ambulation, and restorative care techniques (positioning, ROM exercises, etc.). Ensure completion of accurate and timely documentation, incident reports, and shift handoff reports. Maintain infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance throughout the shift. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and on-the-job training. Requirements REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED required. Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or CCRC setting required. At least one (1) year of supervisory or charge nurse experience required. Current CPR and First Aid certification required. Experience in senior living/CCRC environment preferred. Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred. ISP/UAI certification preferred. Ability to lift and assist residents (50 lbs. or more) and perform frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and transferring residents. Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond effectively to emergencies and changes in condition. Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to supervise and support CNA/RMA staff.
