Join the wound center team in Redwood Falls as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant! Imagine the impact you can have on patients in Redwood Falls and surrounding communities! Summary Room patient per CentraCare policies, protocols and/or standards. Assist with procedures and administer medications and injections. Assist provider and help with other patient care tasks. Maintain cleanliness of workspaces and exam rooms. Manage patient schedule/flow. Organize patient information and document appropriately. Schedule Casual position with varied daytime shifts on an as needed basis. Daytime shifts between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM and occasional Saturday mornings. Pay $22.40 to $33.58 per hour for LPNs and $20.92 to $31.06 per hour for CMAs. Pay determined by experience. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or medical assistant degree required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff Licensure and Certification Licensed Practical Nurse: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota required. Medical Assistants: Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistant (see below) Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date. Certification from one of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) American Medical Technologists (AMT) NCMA through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) American Registry of Medical Assistants program (ARMA) CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
