Description At Southeastern Cardiology Associates, the Device Clinic Nurse serves as the technical and clinical lead for the Implanted Device Clinic. This position is responsible for the end-to-end management of cardiac rhythm devices, including the coordination of in-house clinics and the oversight of all remote monitoring operations. Acting as a critical link between the patient and the provider team, you will ensure the clinical integrity of device data, manage technical alerts via Murj, and maintain manufacturer-compliant documentation for all implanted loop recorders, pacemakers, and defibrillators. Daily Responsibilities: Enroll patients in remote monitoring following device implantation and manage daily data downloads. Organize and conduct monthly scheduled pacemaker clinics and per diem checks with device representatives. Review patient data and alerts daily via Murj; notify providers of critical alerts and process reports for timely billing. Assist physicians with in-house cardiac loop recorder implants and perform all associated wound checks. Complete MRI clearance requests per manufacturer recommendations Provide technical answers regarding implanted devices to patients, caregivers, and internal medical staff. Requirements Qualifications & Skills Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) or experienced LPN license. Minimum of 1 year of Cardiology experience Current BLS certification If RN, current ACLS certification Proficiency in EMR systems, Excel, and web-based clinical portals.
