Our established multi-specialty Ophthalmology group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled LPN to provide exceptional pre and post-operative care. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort, utilizing your expertise to monitor and respond to their needs throughout the surgical process. Your Impact: Comprehensive Pre-Op Care: Admit patients, conduct thorough assessments, and prepare them for surgery. Post-Operative Monitoring & Care: Receive patients from surgery, evaluate their needs, and provide attentive post-operative care. Accurate Patient Assessment & Documentation: Monitor and document patient status, ensuring clear and concise records. Treatment Administration & Order Fulfillment: Carry out prescribed treatments and physician orders with precision. Patient Education & Follow-Up: Provide clear post-operative instructions and conduct follow-up phone calls. OR Log Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date operating room logs. Sterile Environment Maintenance: monitor the sterile field. Surgical Team Support: Assist anesthesia, scrub, and medical personnel to ensure smooth operations.
