Job Description Chart interdisciplinary progress notes in an informative and descriptive manner to reflect resident care. Prepare and administer medications/treatments as ordered by a physician; ensure drug & narcotic records are accurate and up to date for each shift; notify nurse manager of discrepancies; appropriately dispose of drugs & narcotics. Assists the Director of Nursing with completion of documentation as required by the Department of Human Services, PA 2600. Assists the Personal Care team to identify the physical, social, nutritional, spiritual, and activity needs of residents. Qualifications Experience in Personal Care or Assisted Living preferred. Current PA Licensed Practical Nurse License. Current CPR Certification. Responsibilities
The LPN will chart interdisciplinary progress notes descriptively, prepare and administer physician-ordered medications and treatments, and maintain accurate drug and narcotic records, reporting any discrepancies. They will also assist the Director of Nursing with required documentation and help the Personal Care team assess residents' physical, social, nutritional, spiritual, and activity needs.
