LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) LOCATION: POMEROY LIVING STERLING SKILLED Address: 34643 Ketsin Drive, Sterling Heights, MI, 48310 POSITION SUMMARY Pomeroy Living Sterling Skilled is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide direct nursing care to residents according to established care plans and physician orders. * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accurately. * Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in residents’ conditions. * Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote resident independence. * Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans. * Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members. * Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for residents. * Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. QUALIFICATIONS * Current and valid LPN license in the state of Michigan. * Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. * Strong clinical skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position requires working in a skilled nursing facility with residents who may have complex medical needs. The role involves standing, walking, and assisting residents throughout the shift.
