Completes MAR & treatment record, assuring drug monitoring indicators are identified. Assures required lab values are obtained for drug monitoring as recommended by RX. Obtains physicians' orders on new residents and completes physicians' order sheet and assessments Makes daily rounds to be aware of residents' condisions and enviroment. Informs primary care physician of significant changes Qualifications Minimum of one year experience in medical/surgical, rehab, or geriatrics nursing, or significant medical/surgical clinical experience during schooling is preferred. Responsibilities
The LPN participates in the care planning process, updates for changes in resident conditions, and ensures drug monitoring indicators are identified. They also make daily rounds to assess residents' conditions and inform primary care physicians of significant changes.
