We are currently looking for a PRN Staff Nurse for The Barclay House of Baton Rouge Primary Responsibilities of the Staff Nurse: This position is 6p-10p to serve as a second nurse to the FT nurse during evening med pass. This position is scheduled daily, one for memory care, and one for assisted living. Looking for nurses open to part time and 6p-10p rotation. Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of their applicable board and state regulations for assistant living. Provide world class care and service for our residents while remaining flexible and adapt to change. Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs. Work independently (with minimal direct supervision) and with a team to make decisions, organize/prioritize tasks effectively, document clearly, and follow through on assignments. Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team Requirements Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others. Team Player and enjoys working with the elderly. Current license for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the state. Responsibilities

The Staff Nurse will provide medical treatment and administer medication to residents in memory care and assisted living settings. Additionally, the nurse will serve as a charge nurse for personal assistants and assist with resident performance improvement programs.
